SHINTOKUSOBA NO YAKATA

Located at the westernmost of the Tokachi Plain, the town of Shintoku is a nationally known production area of savory soba (buckwheat noodles) for the extreme temperature swings between day and night. The stone-ground buckwheat harvested from the on-site farm is used to make delectable soba. This soba factory offers freshly made soba at the on-site restaurant.

Hanareya Ishidaya

Built in 1873 (the 6th year of the Meiji period), Hanareya Ishidaya is a Japanese style hotel with natural hot spring bath. Every group of guests stay in a private cottage with private indoor bath and open air bath. The garden will be filled with flowers; full blooming cherry blossoms of Kawazu Zakura in February and March and irises in May and June. The hotel also features a hot spring pool.

Stone　Museum　Hakusekikan

Hakusekikan is a museum of stones houses rare collections of minerals and features approximately 15 meters high pyramid built with granite stone and 360 meters long underground maze. Small museums are dotted around the park covering an area of 210,000 square meters.
