SHINTOKUSOBA NO YAKATA

Located at the westernmost of the Tokachi Plain, the town of Shintoku is a nationally known production area of savory soba (buckwheat noodles) for the extreme temperature swings between day and night. The stone-ground buckwheat harvested from the on-site farm is used to make delectable soba. This soba factory offers freshly made soba at the on-site restaurant.

Hanareya Ishidaya

Built in 1873 (the 6th year of the Meiji period), Hanareya Ishidaya is a Japanese style hotel with natural hot spring bath. Every group of guests stay in a private cottage with private indoor bath and open air bath. The garden will be filled with flowers; full blooming cherry blossoms of Kawazu Zakura in February and March and irises in May and June. The hotel also features a hot spring pool.
